How a project works

Share a brief, agree the output, then review the design or fabrication. A job can use one service or combine several.

    Understand

Share the outcome, references and constraints. We discuss the purpose, quantity, deadline and what already exists, then agree the scope rather than assume a process.

    Capture & develop

Where needed, an existing object is scanned or measured and the data is developed into an appropriate model. A new design can begin with sketches or other information. Review points should be agreed before work starts.

    Make & review

The agreed fabrication or printing route turns the data into an output. The brief defines what needs checking and how the result will be handed over. Iteration can be discussed when a prototype is intended to inform another design decision.
