Materials & file preparation
What to send for CAD, scanning, printing, laser cutting or UV work, including dimensions, artwork and material information.

| What you have | Useful starting point | Include with it |

Models and drawings
Include the original CAD file or an export if one exists, plus a drawing or note for dimensions that matter. State units, intended size, quantity and the job the part needs to do. Tell us whether the next user needs editable CAD or only geometry for a specific process.
Artwork and flat materials
For laser or UV work, include the finished size, material and thickness, cut/engrave or print areas and a reference for the desired finish. Keep vector cut paths clear and include linked artwork resources where relevant. Material composition must be checked before processing.
Send useful supporting information
Photographs, sketches, PDFs and model files can help explain a project. The enquiry form supports an optional file up to 50 MB. If a file is larger or your format is not accepted, submit the brief without it and explain what you need to transfer. Do not put confidential download passwords into a public link.
Material selection is part of the brief
Describe expected load, temperature, exposure and handling requirements. Published 3D printing materials include nylon, PLA, ABS, PETG and resin processes, but current availability and suitability need to be confirmed.
Discuss your requirements
Start with a sketch, photo, part or model. Tell us what you need it to do; we can discuss the next step.
