Describe the substrate
Include material, dimensions, thickness, surface finish and quantity. Photographs can clarify shape and print access. Explain whether the material is supplied and what the finished item will be used for.
Explain the graphic result
Send artwork at the intended size with linked resources included. State the print location, edge requirements and whether particular colour matching or a finish is important. These requirements need to be assessed before a quote is finalised.
Connect the fabrication stages
If printing follows laser cutting or 3D printing, describe the complete project. Alignment, handling and assembly requirements can affect how the individual stages should be scoped.
Before you send the files
- Identify the material, thickness, finish and printable face.
- Provide artwork at the finished size with linked resources.
- Show the print position and any edge or alignment requirements.
- State quantity, colour requirements and how the finished item will be used.
